Base
Ü Keramik always used white clay. The great majority of items have just the form number and size numbers separated by “/”. Size measurements are given in cm. The text used is quite distinctive, it is usually incised but is occasionally embossed.

Sometimes bases were un-marked or over glazed so numbers cannot be read.

The only time a company name was added was by an ink stamp on early items or hand stamped on studio items, otherwise it is absent.

A very small number of vases (534, 535, 537 and 539) were marked “Made i W.Germany” All use i rather than “in” which is unique to Ü Keramik.

Stickers/Labels
Ü Keramik labelled many of their items with foil stickers.
