Montanus & Remy was a small ceramic producer in the twon of Höhr-Grenzhausen. They should not be confused with Marzi & Remy which were also based in Hoehr-Grenzhausen.

Red clay was used and items are typically hand marked with the form and size number. Most items are marked with the Montanus & Remy symbol (an interlocked M and R (see photos below). Some items are unmarked.
