Bückeburg Keramik were based in Bückeburg close to Hannover. The main designer was Helge Pfaff. They produced vases but are most known for their wall plaques which had varied designs including fish and images of vases.

Identification
Earlier items tended to use klinker and so have red clay bases. The fat lava and 60s onwards vases used white clay (white clay was introduced by Gerz for decorative ceramics in 1961). Of the white clay vases they almost always have numbers only. Usually they are in a straight line, but on occasion they do follow the round outer edge of the base. Often marked with the size in cm (but not always). The form and size may be separated by a slash or written on a separate line (sometimes separated by a solid line).
