This new TV series sees TV presenter Kirstie Allsopp “using  vintage style to transform unloved houses into beautiful homes”.

The first episode features a 1960s maisonette in Edinburgh. As part of Kirstie’s transformation the couple purchase a yellow West German vase for £25 – shown below. My personal choice of the three would have been the large red Scheurich vase.

The yellow West German vase is given pride of place in the finished room – along with a number of other Fat Lava vases (including two Scheurich vases).
