Otto Keramik produced some seriously great fat lava items. Two of the leading proponents of West German pottery, Otto Gerharz and Kurt Tschorner combined to produce what are now some of the most sought after fat lava items. Kurt Tschorner produced the forms and Otto Gerharz developed the stunning glazes. Items were not produced in the vast quantities of some other West German companies; Otto remained small probably employing not more than 20 people.
