This amazing bright yellow Roth Keramik jug (form number 8304) is currently for sale on Bay, you can see it by clicking here. I could not however resist featuring on the Pots and Pots blog because of the brilliant vibrant yellow decor and contrasting blue inside. I have never come cross this form or Roth vase in such a starting yellow.

Sale prices on eBay have been analysed to evaluate West German Pottery price trends. The aim is to monitor the changing value of Fat Lava pottery through analysis of UK eBay sales. The intention is that this will provide a barometer for the popularity/desirability of Fat Lava items.
The average sale price of West German pottery items during July 2012 was £11.13 down slightly from the previous month (£12.51). The top 20% most expensive Fat Lava items average sale price was £36.95, again down slightly on the previous month (£45.02). Two of the 100 sample listings included in the analysis did however achieve a sale price of over £100.

With the men’s and women’s Olympic Road Races completed (congratulations Elizabeth Armitstead on fantastic silver) we now await Wednesdays Time Trial. Fingers crossed for Bradley Wiggins, Chris Froome and Emma Pooley. Then on Thursdays it is indoors for the start of the track cycling.
Pots and Pots has put together a couple of pottery based message of support!

The average sale price of West German pottery items during June 2012 (£12.51) has remained unchanged from the previous month (May £12.55). The top 20% most expensive Fat Lava items average sale price was up from £34.26 during May to £45.02 during June.
